SUMMARY

Release Date: 1.6.20072007 has been a transitional time for Christian indie-rockers ''Beyond'' -
A new name! Beyond Jericho
and a new bassist! Pete Kelly.

Pete Kelly hails from Colorado, U.S., as does Robin Gault the band's lead guitarist. And Colorado for the band has very much become a second home away from home, that is Scotland where the Beyond musical vibe was first conceived.

And that notion of distance and seperation is explored in the title track as to how God provides the continuity of a musical movement despite physical barriers, and how His mission for our lives remains the same - to serve Him fuller.

Pete Kelly, replaces Pete Mcfarlane, and joins Rob's younger brother Lewis Gault (drums, Scotland) and frontman Davy Paul (vocals, Northern Ireland) to become the new dimension to the original remaining Beyond line-up.

The band has a fresh impetus, as they look towards finalising recording their sophomore album ("Based On A True Story") which promises a definite shift towards a bigger, fuller indie-rock sound than their TWMYTG [The world means you to God] debut [released May '06]

REVIEWS

Malcolm Clarke | Radio Holland Park | UK

" Excellent rock song. "

Roger Hill | In Touch Magazine

" Good sound balance and I rate the guitar work and driving rhythm. "

Rob Mansell | County Sound Radio | UK

" Excellent. I like the way it builds. "

Vic Groves | Ripple Valley Radio | UK

" Guaranteed alot of plays with the band's pedigree. "

Steve Bridges | Radio Cherwell | UK

" Atmospheric beginning with a really effective piano before the guitar took over. I was surprised the way it developed into a full blown rock song. Well written. "

Bill Rowe | Radio Poplar & CitySound | UK

" A well produced rock track. "

Rob Hillar | Flame, Corinium & Atlanta Radio | UK

" I like the guitars. Something of U2 about them. A song that gradually builds to a big finish. "

Paul S Ganney | Cross Rhythms Music

" The Northern Ireland-based band, formerly known as Beyond, weigh in with a single. I have to be honest - I didn't like this at first. I think it was the vocals, just slightly off-key (maybe they're supposed to be lazy?) that I objected to. It certainly wasn't the U2-esque guitar work or even the Snow Patrol-ish arrangement. By the end of the title track, though, I'd grown to love it. It's a very catchy song and the vocals become distinctive. Maybe they should have autotuned the odd note, but that wouldn't have been honest and give me an honest off-key note with emotion over a pitch-corrected click-tracked "feel it by numbers" track any day. "

Denis Payne | Hot FM | Australia

" A group with alot of potential, the sound of youth "
