Posted: June 16, 2009

Ballymena is set to host another major Christian music concert hot on the heels of Fuel '09. Arisen Nation will take place at the Braid Arts Centre on Friday, June 19. Described as the 'flagship event' for 12tribe Records, this is the first time it has taken place in Ballymena after similar gigs in various places around England and Scotland.

Revealing his vision for what should be a brilliant night, David Paul said: "The aim of Arisen Nation is to challenge, enliven and inspire commmunities in Christ through message and music and the label has decided to consolidate its event efforts into a focused local campaign."

Two of the most exciting acts on the UK Christian music scene will be on the bill. Local band, The Anselm are really beginning to garner attention following the release of their second album White and Blue. Soulful indie-rock outfit, NlighteN will also be coming over from the Midlands. This band have a wealth of experience in performing Christian concerts and can name support for Christian superband One Hundred Hours amongst their impressive resume, as well as a previous slot at Greenbelt festival and an upcoming support slot for David Ostby at Craigavon's Hope Dealers Concert '09.
